The most colorful experience to discover the many faces of Chiapas
EZNL
TEXTILES
NATURAL DYES
Your journey begins at the Jtatik Samuel Museum, where the history of the EZLN and the voice of Bishop Samuel Ruiz bring you closer to the struggle for dignity and human rights. You then explore San Andrés Larraínzar, a town where two forms of government and two worldviews coexist.
The heart of the day beats inside the weavers’ home: women who, with only eight members, preserve their textile tradition and welcome you with an organic lunch full of local flavors.
The closing moment is pure magic: a natural dye workshop, where you will learn to transform plants and tree bark into threads dyed with life itself. Through stories, ancestral knowledge, and the creative strength of your artisan guide, you will experience the alchemy that colors the Tzotzil soul.
An authentic and transformative experience, available from Tuesday to Sunday.
